The water cement ratio is the key. Different cement brands use water slightly different. Different sands have different shapes hence different surface area and hence different quantities of water are required to coat the sand and allow the sand to mix and pour efficiently. Similarly the stone uses water differently. Concrete is cement that is hydrated. It is just water and cement. There is an optimum ratio of water and cement. Too little water and you have a weaker concrete because the cement is not completely and uniformly hydrated. An excess of water is required to completely and uniformly hydrate the cement. The excess provides a weakness. So it is a balance. Too much water provides additional weaknesses. Concrete used economically and efficiently is the addition of stones to bulk out the cement paste thus the cement paste becomes a glue sticking to the stone and bridging to the next stone. Sand is added to fill in the gaps between the stones to save more cement. Thus the cement paste has to fully coat each stone and each sand particle and also fill the gaps that still exist. Extra water is then required because the stones and sand has to be wetted first to absorb any water that they would otherwise pinch from the hydration process. This extra water is a weakness, so stone and sand are sourced to reduce this extra water use. Extra water is also required to make the concrete mix be "workable" (otherwise no one would work in concrete). The extra water for workability is a weakness. So concrete becomes a fine balance between the water and the cement.
There is a range of variance between mixes. Not every 25MPA mix comes at 25MPA. It will range up from 25MPA with an occasional mix dropping to as low as 22MPA. Normally up to 15% variance in design strength is allowed. If a design calls for 25MPA, the engineer uses 32MPA when he adds a safety factor.
Edencrete allows for better water usage while providing reinforcement at a nano scale. This is completely different to the normal concrete that it competes with. So the art of mix design is turned upside down and a hundred years of concrete use has to be rethought.
Eden's job now is to systematically rethink each specific mix. Once that is done then the whole industry will rethink itself.

Beton,you say the whole industry will rethink itself !
Is that how disruptive you view this product,will engineers design down the thickness etc.,once they accept and evaluate Edencrete ?
How long do you think (your opinion only)will the core of engineering brains take to rethink their ways when using Edencrete.
For me I would like to see substantial gains in SP within 3 years ( I know you cant always get what you want).
