Yeh!!! interested to know the sub-sea, civil applications!!!!! Also at the EGM, one of the chairs of the meeting mentioned that CAT have had the idea of potentially using the arm to place windows on high rise buildings (i have posted this in another thread so sorry to the many that read all threads). I work in structural engineering these days but previously spent 15 years as a builder and the applications just in the building world alone are exciting, rendering the house, trusses, laying roof slates, windows, roadside curbs, proprietary fence panels on large developments, walls along side large motorways to name a few, what about laying pipework for infrastructure. But I believe that is only the beginning, I am sure the people they are approaching regarding the technology see far bigger things for a technology that can stay within 0.5mm accuracy over a 30m boom in tough conditions.

    Roll on 2018!!!!
