    acka,

    I know a few people who are doing BFSes on nickel laterite heap leaches and they ran me through things. From what little I know, they will need to redo the column test. But! The fact their metallurgists solved and recovered the column test has to be a positive. Its a delay - one of the things engineers make you suffer through interminably.

    JHird,

    I totally did not know DML has Maun. /sarcasm.

    Generally;
    The Dikoloti nickel, if it can be made to work on heap leaching of sulphides, will b a watershed for the Selebi-Phikwe belt which is well known for having hideously low tenor nickel ores which can be a trouble to treat. I think that DML can realise a significant bonus on the Dikoloti ore body and heap leach process via synergies with other nearby explorers (eg; ALB, ACB, etc) and/or just flog the whole thing as a going concern to raise cash for Maun.

    As far as Maun goes, it is going to be a mine. It just depends on how many 10's of millions of tonnes, what the cash cost will be, and how much the thing will turn on various copper prices. Having Galt on board sas that DML is dead serious - and Galt wouldn't get involved with these guys if they were a sack of spare ears.

    Give the MD a call, see for yourselves how competent he comes across as. Buy, sit, let the rest of the jokers on here play day trading games for you and when DML gets going, it'll do you well, I would think.

    Of course, this just being opinions and knowledge gained second hand, the comany is the place to go for a bit of heartwarming confirmation and soothing of nerves, not some random from the internet!
