Well worth while read as it complements the article on Hezbolla posted recently by Langers, i think that they want to take them out, because imo Iran, will be the dominant country in the region. Israel would like to take them out for the same reason that Rome took out Carthage.

Yes, spent a couple of months on a course with a group from Iran Air on an aircraft maintenance course in the early 80's, I was most impressed with them, their manner, and technical competences.
