I am interested in other posters thoughts on this topic.
We all agree that the deal with Verizon is a significant achievement for the company and one that provides a solid platform for growth.
There is an expectation of additional news flow based on company correspondence and leads generated from the MWC. We have all being looking for global expansion via agreements with additional tier 1 telcos.
Is it possible that global expansion will come via the Verizon agreement?
Verizon have outlayed close to $10b buying AOL and Yahoo.
Yahoo have partnerships with media companies and telcos worldwide.
Verizon have stated that their goal is to increase subscriber numbers under the Oath brand to 2b.
What are your thoughts LOTM, GR and Co.?
They would be able to offer subscription based data free content via mobile globally. Sport would be the obvious candidate.
They could even utilise an unnamed telco that they have an agreement with that has significant infrastructure globally to provide the network and wholesale data to make it work.
