I'm sure I have come across it before but what is the required LCE per GWH of battery production?
Even if PLS go to 10mtpa and give all the 5mtpa to CATL, I don't think that would even be half of what they would need. I also think they would likely source materials from a variety of places. For them to bank on production from the Congo being consistent would be too risky so imo the better option from their perspective could be to source from PLS, KDR, TAW and perhaps others. The security of supply you get with Australian producers is unmatched.
Have you any thought about fuel cells?
