In my local mall there is a BMW fully electric vehicle on display, don't recall the model(i5?) but sells for 75k. 240 km range (not enough)
You can hear the crickets chirping around it.
Upstairs there is a Tesla SUV - literally crowds form around it, retail 140k to 250k - the one on display is 500km range and 230k price tag - they sales guys are flat out taking names and showing it off.
BMW have some ground to cover - but they're on the way. This will def help if they are using the battery development of Great Wall (but surely it's a big risk putting their badge in the same waters as GW...)
Anyway certainly potentially lucrative news for PLS. Imagine if they then extend the deal to use the same batteries for their Euro models too.
