Great video news article from CBS which just aired nationwide in the USA. Despite the headline including the words "dairy industry skepticism", the video is very positive on the science behind A2 with support from farmers and end users.

Just like in Australia A2's market acceptance and success is seen as a threat to the USA dairy industry status quo and has attracted the usual dairy industry PR mouthpieces who's interests is to talk down the science behind the new entrant A2. Just like in Aus their opinion means nothing in the big picture of things as in the end its the potential 300M people in the USA buying milk who just like in Australia are accepting the science and the product with open arms. The paid mouthpieces of the US dairy industry will have no power to sway the public purchase choice just like in Australia when the same premium priced product proved the naysayers and skeptics wrong and captured >10% of the Australian market.

Remember if and when they capture the same 10% share of the USA milk market that will make it greater than 100% of total milk sales in Australia. Its well known that the USA can scale up the A2 milk supply far quicker than NZ or Australia can and I can foresee if need be A2 being capital light and nimble doing a joint partnership as they have with Synlait. They can quickly ramp up the number of A2 herds from US farmers to produce more A2 milk, IF and the new adult nutrition products in short order. I understand from the news article none of the A2 cows are genetically modified like some other dairy cows are in the states and remember reading that one of the prerequisites for A2 to accept you as a supplier is that the cows are grass feed, not grain fed like many other cows that supply the cheaper A1/A2 milk in the states.

Love how the video ends with them saying at the moment A2 is being successfully rolled out in specialty and high end grocery stores but is in the process of making a LARGER roll out in the near future.

This type of news makes me hopeful of A2 turning a profit sooner than later in the USA and remember when that profit comes. it comes with the added bonus of being paid in US $. Which by that time could well be in our favour  with most finance experts predicting our dollar will fall to US70c
