I'm not sure what they were trying to achieve by putting this out.
I wouldn't read anything too sinister into it. The ASX Spotlight Conference is today in New York (12th actually but they are behind). I am not sure if it's an absolute requirement but it's common for companies to make a public announcement including the presentation notes they will be using for the event.
