From my perspective I see equality as having already had been achieved by the SS community.

As I have mentioned a number of times, the only issue is possibly the 'next of kin' question.
This could be achieved by a seperate Act designed specifically for the SS community. Thus protecting the current definition of the Marriage Act from being intentionally misinterpreted for further redefinition in the future.

Practical implementation of rights is more important then using certain words which in its self is tokenism.

IMO it's not equality that is the issue but a psychological hang-up on the part of the SS community.

The religious and non-religious (that's me) heterosexual community should also have the right to be legally and legislatively disassociated from the SS community.

History has proven that young arent aware of the future implication presented by older lobbyist.
    As an example Alan Joyce.
