I am a large user (1000A three phase) and i put our usage out to tender every three years.
I use about (now) 1 or 2 thousand dollars a day in electricity.
A while ago, before labor raped us, there was an excess of supply and energy suppliers including Energex rushed to lock in users like me at 3c/ KWhr then after Beattie the tossers deregulation it doubled to 7c then 26c and now that I am moving, they tell me when I renew, I will pay double what I am now. They do not want large users, you see. I will be paying way more for bulk, than I do at home.
I work 24/7 so no solar.
The Adelaide tesla battery and 750KW to 1000KW of panels is what I need. 100 million worth.
We are truly stuffed.
