Suggest Medsafe approval will be faster than you think Whytee due to work that LCT has already done (as always based on a +ve outcome to the current blind tests) the belief inside LCT and @ Ascot Hospital is that paying customers can start March 2018. As to FDA approval, all paying NZ customers can be part of the FDA study I understand but it will still take 2.5 years to get to approval (once again subject to LCT ticking the box's) The good news is that all the paying customers in NZ are part of the study for FDA approval so LCT is not having to fund a two year study. While 100 patients a year is the short-term goal for NZ, I understand the company does have very good relationships with a number of offshore hospitals that are in countries where this sort of procedure would be accepted, subject to it receiving approval in NZ first (think Asian region).
