They have no real skills in generation and it isn't complementary to their business unlike a retail offering which would be.
Woolworths and Coles got into Petrol retailing, they didn't feel the need to start exploring for oil in Bass Strait.
Some modest renewables maybe but I'd prefer not. Anything more substantial I suspect would be an abject disaster.
