My understanding is that a company only has to release drilling results if there is a material change to the information already released to market.
They can also use the methodology that the relaibility of the results do not provide the information to the market whereby the investor can make quantifiable decisions based on the data and subsequently results can be held back until further verification is undertaken (big sentence)
