Lengthy because of his directorships ... I was actually restrained in terms of the usual diatribe I type
If you want to nitpick though I'll point out that you've been focusing on Junior Li explorers - as @nexusb rightly pointed out, we only actually been involved in Li since 20 September 2016 ... remember we may need to find a trench of Li to fund the CTL because from 4 July 2016 "the board regrets the current investment climate has not enabled the funding of the complete development of the current CLT project, which has led the company to have to search for additional investment opportunities to provide value to shareholders".
Unless of course as @ans25 rightly points out we get "Joint Ventures , Offtake agreements, Farm-in's, Government grants, R&D Claim backs, Whole Asset Sells" but we've been banging on about some of those things for ages too but have seen no results ... and on 4 July 2016 when we went searching for additional investment opportunities I'm assuming they were not considered viable options? As an aside I didn't realise that the "current investment climate" was poor in 2016 - the things you learn.
But you didn't answer my question - so we know what GK (and key management personnel) were doing between 4th July and 20 September 2016... desperately securing another 'money spinner' - but what were they doing to from 2014 to 2017 to earn their money? BTW I included all remuneration costs because as a shareholder, in my opinion, that's what you should be concerned about - what it is costing to run this sideshow ... not just focusing on the ringleader. But as you wish - let's see how hard done by GK is and continue the pity party ...
2014 - $120k Astron + 60k GPP = $180k salary
2015 - $120k Astron + 60k GPP = $180k salary
2016 - $120k Astron + 60k GPP + $43,626 options = $223,626 salary
2017 - 120k Astron + 60k GPP + $58,823 options = $238,823 salary
So, what were they doing as a junior li exploration company considering you want to compare what someone in that space gets - remember we were only active from 20 September 2016 to 30 June 2017 ... IMO not worth the $217k you quoted as the going rate, but maybe that's just me.
This -
20/09/16 - signed a binding head of agreement
13/10/16 - engaged a lithium expert
03/02/17 - Commenced Phase 1 Activities At Morabisi
03/03/17 - Sent off and supplied first results From Reconnaissance Surface Sampling
30/03/17 - Found some Lithium specs at Morabisi
02/06/17 - Found some REE At Robello
And in 2014 in the CTL space they were busy identifying potential markets and working towards completion of feasibility studies to enable the Group to consider a pilot plant in Victoria. In your opinion, GK deserves a higher remuneration package because since that time he's been able to progress the project to .... ?
