I have cable and had NBN installed on Monday morning. You will be fine. It took about 20 minutes to install, it works faster and I haven't had any problems since being installed. Mentioned all the bad feedback to the installer and he said people with cable or who have had Foxtel in recent years are ok, it is the people who have old infrastructure that are experiencing the problems. So no need to be worried. He also advised that people should install sooner rather than later as if there are any problems then you are more likely to get it fixed quickly because when everyone rushes in at the last minute getting problems fixed is going to take ages.
