My response a bit late, but it seems that Nightstalker has made a very nice profit of 69 cnets per share. He would have had approx 82,000 shares at $1.21. He would have to pay 15% tax on profit, just over 10 cents a share. My calculations say he made a profit of more than $40,000. The risk is that he 'll be found to be carrying on a business, which is illegal for SMSF. Also, he won't always be this lucky. If it's easy to make $40,000 it's just as easy to lose $40,000.
