People are not thick. They are understandably cautious.
The company have issued unexpectedly bad news, and the market has marked them down.
The markdown can be interpreted as excessive because the funds have had to sell as the co went ex-ASX200.
Another interpretation is that the market is discounting further bad news in the pipeline. Funding may be an issue. In todays credit market, it is a big issue.
Personally I think there are too many people with an interest in the co staying solvent to let it go down the pan.
