As I said, I could well be proven wrong and the SPP may in fact prove to be successful ... But to me it is not a good sign that the company is putting so much energy into contacting shareholders regarding their subscription decisions ... I could be wrong, but I was not of the understanding that management routinely contact all holders personally during the SPPs that are carried out by other ASX companies ... Obviously with Volt needing funds desperately, they are going the extra mile in trying to secure them, but if I was a holder I think I'd be feeling just a little uneasy about it.

Regarding the new Tanzanian mining minister, I didn't see anything in that article to suggest there were any forthcoming changes of policy that would be more friendly to mining companies ... Probably a bit early to know what will result from her appointment.

I'm not intentionally trying to be negative ... In fact, for reasons which I won't discuss here, it could possibly be beneficial to me if Volt was to eventually come good ... But at the moment I still see it as very high risk, and funding is crucial in the short term.
