phase II Vs phase I

Hi all
can anyone clarify for me the difference between phase 1 and phase 2? Is it more of the same? So if it is, then shouldn't we expect to see similar positive results?

I can't discern from the announcements provided. It sounds like more of the same kind of testing so i'm hoping that the treatment has worked well before then it'll work again. And if that's it, then its off to FDA approval and into commercial operation?
... wonder if they've had talks with interested parties on delivering treatments? ...

had been trading this since 6c but then have held on since buying in at 14c ... hoping for a ground floor entry to something big so I'm not keen to take profits ...
