No. In 1987 our exports and foreign investments were Japanese & now they are Chinese; a completely different kettle of fish.
We'll do OK so long as China keeps motoring along with our biggest threat being Trump trade sanctions on China and we having to follow.
IMO, we should not go with US sanctions on China. What do others think?
