We can't even get reliable basic mobile services at home (Melbourne outer eastern suburbs).
Though I have a Telstra 4G mobile Broadband prepaid I use for traveling and as a backup when our ADSL is down, it seems to connect okay from home (in the location I use it). The speed is faster than our ADSL, but the cost is prohibitive for the data we use at home.
To some extent, all infrastructure projects should be taken out of the politicians hands to help remove the politics from interfering with Australia's progress.
