No problem a touch of humour is fine... asked my dog and he started chasing his tail!!

However, I would still like to know the answers to my questions.

I know the first patient dosing has occurred as that was announced as was the target of having 18 patients completing the trial (at that the time of dosing there may well have been other qualified patients who were waiting to be dosed... but I don't know whether that was so as we weren't told).

Why am I concerned about patient numbers?
Because there are two component that validate the results of clinical trials - the level of statistical significance and clinical relevance.

I assume that the target of 18 was well thought out and based on achieving a certain level of statistical significance to support any claims of clinical relevance... that is it's not just a random number that sounds about right.

So IMO if we don't achieve the benchmark enrollment then claims of clinical relevance could well be undermined... and like many others I've waited too long for something like that to happen!
