If I were the longterm end user ie: car maker, I would set up magnet plant in Kuantan with very long term supply agreement and equity sharing deal (for mag maker) to align the interest of the supplier to my own manufacturing needs.
I would also pump the shit out of my product advantage ie: longterm access to damn good material which no one else has, by selling to other car makers who didn't have that same foresight as I. (a la Samsung selling to Apple)
But alas it aint me LOL
