This won't come as a surprise if I say in my view there is more chance that Mr G's scenario will happen than your rose coloured hope.
I better add in my view Mr G's scenario is a comforting, in some cases manipulative, story intended for children and has zero chance of happening.
Mind you I could be wrong on both counts !
