Don't have the original correlation chart with a perfect 12 month lag of US markets to housing but here is the latest housing figures.
With a 12 month lag it suggested a Aug/Dec low for US markets this year, but it looks even worse for this time next year.
Admitedly I saw Beazer ( US house construction) was down from 80 to 8 the other day and 90% correction is not a bad time to buy.
It had a 10% jump on rate day so the low is probably in but a basing is probably in order.
Reminds one of the Dow down 90% into '32 and Nikkei and nasdaq etc. in times since.
