Hi Hollway, I have read and enjoyed your posts over time - I often give people thumbs up here so you may have seen me... but I have never posted on AVL even though I have been a holder for over a year (I have heads and oppies - athough I am not really in the black on either..). I am not qualified to give you advice, but I can see that in stark contrast to myself, you only ever seem to post on AVL. Do you own anything else? A modest purchase here and there on the asx and some diversification seems to have been the way to go recently. Oh, and hold, hold, hold, as I am not a believer in charts and I don't have the temperament or time for pip trading.
Regarding the intrigue, and the drama you have brought to this thread tonight, I can't help but think your energy has been a little misplaced. Supposing what you said was even true (and I don't think it is) many of us here wouldn't even care. Everyone here has vested interests and posts to their own perceived advantage - most of it for money, but also can be for ego or vindictiveness. Take me for example, I got taken down by MNE, the director of which was WW - the same accounting wizard who was at the wheel of BGS right before their suspension earlier this year. Anyway, perhaps you know the story... (ASX drama almost better than watching the season finale of GOT)...So now I still wouldn't go near BGS with someone else's money.... and in my pettiness I quietly hope and wait for the next tragic episode in their story as it evolves...(I am saying this despite the fact that I can see that both SoS and Happy are into BGS and despite the fact that I greatly respect both of their opinions and valued research into stocks and companies here on the ASX). (Love you Happy - recently followed you into CLA)(Love you SoS bought some AVZ I think due in large part to your posts).
Speaking of drama, how about the well known spat between the ML and JL camps ..! SoS in the ML camp (& Happy by default)? Did their pride and rivalry stop these guys from buying GXY? Sometimes ML will Twitter something so wrong about GXY ..seems petty enough to me ...So you see everyone does it sometimes, even our respected gurus. Have you ever heard the expression 'It is too late to agree with me, I have already changed my mind.' ? Perhaps this was the case regarding the posts you refer to.
My point is I guess, it isn't such a big deal so please get over it and cheer up. This is the ASX casino.
AVL may just have turned a corner. I am immensely pleased that we now have a consultant with 30 years China experience who is going to work hard to make himself and (the patient among us) richer. Check out the Mastermines Twitter account if you haven't already. There are some cool pics of what the Chinese are doing with flow batteries.
