Yeah increased processes but decreased revenue doesn't intuitively make sense. As you suggest it implies more low value tasks. It is hard to know without fully transparent info.
It is also possible that their pricing methods changed between pre BOOM and post BOOM? Maybe they are charging less per item through the automated system? Or it could represent the discount supposedly being given to new clients. However the gap seems to big to have been contributed by that as it would mean a big fall in existing business.
