If Klaus is to come onboard I would presume his remuneration will be largely based on shares/options issue. Obviously it is the potential growth in SP that will be needed to make this attractive, and that growth is attained through good results being announced to the market.
What I am alluding to is that management may be wanting to save some gunpowder until after Klaus signed on, particularly if there could be a wait before next potential SP driver.
Just a bit of speculation on my behalf.
