Gindalbie Metals looks to bolster community relationship Posted Thu Sep 20, 2007 11:03am AEST
Gindalbie Metals hopes to use its tour of mid-west Western Australia this week to further develop its relationship with the local community.
Company representatives will visit Geraldton today before heading to the Mingenew expo.
Gindalbie community relations manager Greg Kaeding says it wants to provide the community with as much information as it can about the proposed Karara Magnetite and Mugada Hematite projects.
He says the success of the ventures will depend on community support.
"The ore deposit that we're developing out at Karara and Mungada is actually very significant ... and will probably provide a sustainable contract for in excess of 40 years, so we're going to be involved for a long time and we look at an opportunity to invest obviously in the local region," he said.
