This why some of us have bought low and sit and wait to pick up the cheap parcels if they come our way with the frustration of some holders as long term traders if the assets are worthy.

I am reminded of a story of Tom Williams of VSA trading fame tracking the smart money was privy to, how he gave an example of when a very large company in the US was targeted, it took 7 years to acquire with all sorts of skulduggery - false public accusations, stooged meetings etc. to cause disruption and discredit directors. Changes today are far more rapid than his day and human nature has not changed.

How people see opportunity is in the eyes of the beholder. This game is tough and ruthless if the prize is worth it. Yes infant companies do take a while to get off the ground but reality was when oil was discovered it was cheap and these days we have resorted to fracking due to lack of resource. There is something that is called planned obsolescence and we are now moving past oil for energy at a rapid pace. The take-off period of the industrial revolution has got nothing on new energy.

We have got about 6 billion people on the planet by 2050 at current rates it will be 9 billion. The mandated move to EV by governments around the world right now will have every corner of the earth turned upside down for new energy reserves because governments now plan a lot further out than individuals but there is a world-wide trend use the private sector to implement their plans.

The demand will be higher in number terms that many people can't get an appreciation of the size of the thing. Ask people to compare the US govt quantative easing numbers with 20 years ago and they can't fathom the numbers? So it will be with new energy. Easy pickings will dry up quickly.

Prudent individuals tag on to shifts in demand and trade an index that is strong in terms of relative strength compared to other commodities, the strong index drags the weaker ones along. DTM will be dragged along in the short term but surprise, surprise when further reconnaissance reveals what they have in terms of lithium and very much mineable molybdenum that is on hold due to the dip in the business cycle. In reality now, the price is that of a shell company. It has value written all over it IMO. I suppose we each have to identify our own trading style and whether directors want a wage but I suspect there is too much skin in the game with the current crew and the reason why the old lot were tipped out for polishing the seats of office and doing little in the field.
