NWT Genesis 1
and God’s active force*+ was moving about over the surface of the waters.+
Ruach Elohim;
the Spirit of God Mr Gordon the Watchtower has no problem translating the exact same phrase in;
1 Samuel 16, 1 Kings 18, Judges 6 and other places
NWT 1 Samuel 16
14 Now the spirit of Jehovah had departed from Saul
NWT 1 Kings 18
12 When I depart from you, the spirit of Jehovah will carry you away
NWT Judges 6
34 Then Jehovah’s spirit came upon
yet in Genesis we read active force Mr Gordon, not the Spirit of God.
have you not picked up on the glaring problem that the Watchtower has changed the noun to an impersonal form from the original in Genesis 1:2.
Why would anyone change the personal noun to an impersonal form?
