You have made no connection or described or established how or why your quoted verses change the meaning of ''this generation shall not pass....'
The connection is there alright, you can't get the fig tree event out of your brain and the generation subject as they ARE NOT part of the verses, some standing here as the proceeding verses are their alignment.
The power of the kingdom in the standing here part, is not the same event as every eye will see him, as the lightning comes etc, yes there is the power subject with that passage, but another event.
If you can't see that, you will never see the truth.
To go on your line of thinking, one would have to deny, the Holy Spirit God is NOT in the world today, Jesus sacrifice and messages etc failed.
Whether you like it or not, that's what you would be saying if you stick to the misconception you have.

Some of those standing Did see the kingdom come, as Jesus said they would John 14:19 Yet a little while the world see me no more; but ye see me; "because" I live, ye shall live also.
Then you have the Acts 2:33 verse I quoted, and that also says you see and hear it, The Holy Ghost God.
Prior in John 14, You will do greater things than Jesus = Power of the kingdom before "they" died.
