The rubies are perfectly fine from the photos shown at the auction. These photos from Ashkar Ali Mubarak show plenty of good quality rubies. I think everyone is panicking unnecessarily from 1 biased article which showed 1 parcel of corundum rubies. The auction is selling varying grades of rubies, so of course you will see a parcel of corundum as well as high grade rubies.

Also note Mustang rubies come from secondary deposits which should have better over all quality compared to Gemfields.
