    Gday,

I thought i would seek the general thoughts in regards to my stock selections. Everyone picks different stocks for different reasons, so i will list my stocks and give a brief description on why i choose, or feel there is upside. Please leave comments on why sell, why buy.

1- NAB - major stock in port folio, bought at $37.00 because i wanted a major blue chip stock, medium to long term play (5-10 years). Bought for Dividend, and the fact I think the NAB is turning there business around. At some point I see the NAB being a $50+ stock, once NAB gets above $50 i see that as a turning point.

2 - MCU - mitchell communication, bought at $1.08. feel that the stock offers good growth potential, from what i have read there profits are set to increase, and it is in advertising. its an IT stock, which i see doing well. 12 month price target is over $1.30, which is over 20%

3 - IBA - IBA health care, bought at 92 cents, i beleive the takeover bid will go through and give IBA a big kick, I see the stock heading down in the short term, possibly 70-75 cents, which is my next buy price, but over 1-3 years i see IBA continuing to expand. It is trading on a really low PE ratio, and it is in ASIA so i think its a small cap, which could be a mid cap.

4- ARR - Continuing with the theme of technology based stocks. I have taken a speculative view on ARR, I have read the paterson's report and i can see if they meet their objectives i could grab 300-400% on this one. I bought at $2.20 initially, and my next buy price is $1.80 and the $1.50. my only issue is that there technology may become outdated.

5- MIG - road tolls, dividends, bought $3.06. I will continue to buy under $3.10. big dividend. Somewhat defensive. will people stop driving... probly not. thus i buy, and collect the dividend, i think it is a $4.20 stock.

6 - BMN - Uranium explorer, that i think will produce. $2.00 was my purchase price, wish i bought more, hindsight is great. I think they are in a country where production is a given, no red tape. I figure buy a $2 uranium explorer means its pretty well backed already. its not a stock that has big volume, so no day traders pumping and dumping, smart money is already set.... so i am just going to hop on for the ride untill production. I think at least $5 out of it if it produces and doesnt dilute heavily.

7- TAH - defensive, yield people always gambling, sport, races, multibets. its a problem, they cant really lose. not really a growth stock. more for yield.

8 - TLS - i bought T3 shares, i hold. in around 10 years they pay for them selves.... say no more. growth might not be there, but at 8% dividend, i think they are a good income stock

9 - VMS - South Australian explorer. Small market cap, any drilling success, and your going to see a multibagger. has spiked before. my buy price 24 cents, will look to sell half on doubling.

10 - MBL - bought at $62, $65, and $72. When everyone has $106 price targets how can you ignore. similar to BHP at $24 before it' stellar run. I have heaps of MBL on margin loan, and figure the sell off was manipulated and overdone in the media. I am on a 6% dividend for a company that is looking at 2 billion profit.
its expensive, but it will still get to $100 at some point. I hold.

ZFX - Bought at $15.20. couldnt say know to the dividend. and base metals i cant see stopping. i see ZFX and OXR merging so i figure that they are going to be a power house. the stock is traded a lot, but riding out the volatility i think i can come through in 3 years with doubling my cash. time will tell.

    thanks for reading.

I appreciate you will not know all my stocks, but thats my mix.

    My regrets on stocks.

    Selling BHP at $32
    Selling RIO at $80
    Selling OXR at $3.00
    Selling PDN at $6.30
Buying BOL at $3.68 (but selling at $3.30) now $2.70

I am taking a long term view with the stocks i have chosen.

    cheers.
