I agree with you 100% Major....GBG holders are getting the rough end of the pineapple here...long term it may be fantastic, however, I bought GBG for it's Aussie businesses...I'm not as comfortable with the possible future exposure to an unknown (to me) African resource. The deal stinks in my book, not least because it looks like the old boys club (Talbot/Jones) are going to make out like bandits if the merger goes through. As you rightly point out, the dilution to GBG holders is extremely disappointing
