Well what a bloody mess. First I still cannot believe that we had updates from Vincent while the auction was taking place. How the hell could this happen? CJ really? But honestly all the discussion good and bad has been basically around Vincents Instagram account. The Blog (Flog) was a beat up from other nefarious sources. Blind Freddy could tell you that.
Doubling of our inventory sounded so good, but what is the point of going up to 405K if it is mainly artisanal based which sounded smaller and inferior? Regardless 8 out of 13 lots has sold on or above reserve price. We will have money in the bank. We now start towards the 2nd auction. There will be better understanding of buyers requirements now, improved grading, improved quality, I suspect no invitation to Vincent and a TH firmly in place.
We have a Graphite JORC that I believe will be spectacular. Fundamentals remain, and if we are naive to think that we will saunter through the early life of MUS without some issues then sell and begone. Cannot wait for the JORC and the lead up to auction two with our lessons learnt. And you never know what this auction has actually achieved. No blind faith here just researched and patient.
