Exactly, we still have the rubies, just very poorly managed auction. Very pisspoor from management to not know what the buyers would have wanted. In fact the line about not having enough of the same size/quality rubies in order for a jeweler to be able to make many lots of the same piece is absolute amateur hour.
Tiffany's are heavy into Rubies, they will sell thousands of the same piece world wide, not 50 or 100.
Lets get back to mining, dig out another 300k carats and sort the f*ers properly for the 2018 auction
