Well I’m not going to get ahead of myself but when I look for stocks I run a lot of peer comparisons with others in the sector.

There is no way this stock won’t run. Not if both AUZ and CLQ continue to move up.

When AUZ ran their last presentation they had a slide showing peer comparison with the leader of the pack being CLQ. Of course they wouldn’t add ARL in there because our resource dwarfs theirs. See below.

Now the cutoff grades for the large 773 million tonne resource are obviously lower grade but when you focus on the higher grade zone we are still well behind.

Absolute bargain and this is what had me pulling the trigger first thing this morning and also why I added to that position during the day.

I’ll be watching with interest to see how much cash AUZ secure when they come out of their trading halt. There aren’t many cobalt plays available on the ASX. I figured holding the one which appeared fundamentally the cheapest on a peer comparison basis was the way to go. I didn’t mind the fact that we have Australia’s and the developed worlds largest cobalt resource either.
