To kick things off here is an article from the FT in BHP, the last STM presentation (page below) mentions BHP proposed a JV with Solgold and is rumoured to be spending UDS$80mill over four years looking for copper. "We go for the big stuff"
Newcrest has invested USD$63 mill in Solgold.
