Good post Emset. I too am interested in Mr Dine's reasons for supporting ARU. I'm hoping he's cottoned on to the fact that rare earths are going to be a multi-facceted contributor to coping with climate change. He's argued very strongly that nuclear power is a must for cutting greenhouse gas emmissions. I hope he also argues that rare earth magnets will contribute significantly by creating more efficient electric motors etc. When the USA finally gets it and hybrid / electric cars become much more popular, rare earths will be in very high demand. Dines can help make this happen.
