Abbott got what he deserved. He lied to the people when he didn't have to, and he fell into the same trap that Gillard did.
Once trust is gone, it is hard to get it back.
Turnbull is lasting at the moment because he hasn't actually broken any big promises made. But his political judgement is that of a child, he is either not listening to advice or he is getting very bad advice.
Either way it is death by a thousand cuts for the LNP at the moment. Slow and excruciating.
The punters will vote these clowns out, just to be rid of the problem. A bit like busting for a crap. A great feeling to shit it out.
That is what the LNP is at the moment. A pile of shit waiting to be flushed down the toilet.
