I think in this case the CTO was the pivotal piece in terms of the product.. you only have to look at the prospectus and Keith's linkedin profile/history:

When i said team members I was referring to the executive team and primarily Bane and Joel.. I think you'd agree that Joel is not coding, he is driving the business (as he should be given he's CEO), I think you also know that Bane isnt coding given he is chairman.. I think Keith made this app himself, he started Distributed Logistics Pty Ltd which was then merged to created GSW and Distributed Logistics owns the application.. Now he is no longer with the company which I see as a HUGE red flag. Its an even bigger red flag that the company failed to disclose this dont you think?
I'm sure they have other tech people, but again if you look on linkedin at GSW employees, a majority of them appear to be in Australia on working visas? (which explains their low staff costs per 4C quarterly (first 3) and the other 2 are pretty recent hires with arguably limited applicable experience for GSW:
- Joset Zamora - Software Engineer (GSW from January 2017) first job in Australia, previously based in Phillipines
- Ravishankar Bharadwaj - Software Engineer (GSW from March 2017) all previous jobs in India
- Rory Quinn - Software Engineer (GSW from March 2017) all previous jobs in the UK
- Kurt Clothier - Project Manager (GSW from June 2017) previous jobs are mostly sales based, predominately in car sales, has rarely stayed at the one place for longer than 2 years
- Vanessa Sergeon - Full Stack Engineer (GSW from Sept 2017) hasnt stayed in the same job for longer than 18 month
I agree with you that they are hiring more people, but for a $400m company wouldnt you expect more of an embedded team already? IMO they cant attract real talent and sticky employees because they cancelled their ESOP so none of the new hires have any equity in the business.. No good tech person would get involved without equity or options.. The only people with skin in the game are the executive team..
Anyway, you get the picture..
