If you consider CLQ's own PFS, they were feasible way back when the price of cobalt was half of what it is now, and the price of nickel was at its lowest ever.
On top of that, ARL is looking to extract the resources through atmospheric acid leeching, not the much more energy intensive HPAL like most other would-be producers are proposing. Now, I'm not saying we will succeed 100% at this, but if we do, this will give us a massive edge over all the others looking to produce, simply because energy in this country costs an arm and a leg!
In that regard, kudos to management for recognizing the crucial factor of energy consumption, and having the guts to float this idea of using atmospheric leeching.
