In systems engineering speak this is referrred to as ‘emergence’. And is often an undesirable outcome and resulting from a number of issues, generally a failure to identify certain parts early on. Emergence can have quite devastating impacts on a project, in some instances requiring the team to start from scratch.

I don’t believe this to be the case for AP. I think AP are working on improving quality and output levels. I’ve never had concern with quality, but have always had concern with volume. My simple physics mind can’t comprehend the law defying AP technology.
