My mum bought me the book Rich Dad Poor Dad when I was 14. (She saw it on Oprah haha). The biggest thing I took away from that book was the difference between an asset and a liability. All my friends went out and got car loans while I drive around in a $4k, 4 cylinder car with no aircon. Do I love it? Hell no! What I do love is the ability to purchase assets like BIG which will allow me to retire in a few years. In saying that I think I will always be investing and running a business.
