    I think this misses some important points. The hard rock lithium GXY can produce, as far as I understand, is not used in batteries and is not competitive with lithium from brines in this regard. Its used in the glass and ceramics segment of the market. When the big brines producers in Chile and Argentina come on line, the hard rock miners have no chance in supplying battery grade lithium.
