Time to update your physics I think. The AP chip is not making something out of nothing. It is just not having to make a whole lot of wasted somethings. Consider it to be like the incandescent lamp and the LED. The hot filament lamp makes visible light and a whole lot of (expensive) heat that you can feel (and have to pay for) but not see. The LED just makes visible light. And it uses a whole lot less power to make just light without all of the unusable heat. The AP chip makes a whole lot of sound without having to move a mass back and forth unnecessarily (producing heat by dissipation). That is ultimately where most of the energy goes to in a loudspeaker.
