I have just read through the transcript of the webinar and all I can say is that it seems like some incumbents are a bit panicky and falling back on box ticking as a criteria for leadership! Sorry boys most of us won't for falling for that gobbledegook. I am stunned and amazed but now realise what we potentially have in store for us as shareholders and it scares the crap out of me.
This is exactly what I would expect of our Chair after last years AGM. In my opinion this communication was designed to gloss over the issues and fall back on corporate box ticking of which JH is obviously a fan. How many face to face client meetings as he has in the last10 years? How mAny deals has he landed, apart from Diasource!
Another thought : " How many boxes would be ticked by the top 100 on the BRW rich list? How many of the innovators and leaders in Australia are concentrating on ticking those little boxes? Those skills are suited for the Ambulance department and managing Super Funds where someone else generates the funding and profits.
Please don't think that I am happy with past performance, I am not. I am very concerned that we will end up in a similar situation in 5 years unless fresh innovative talent is brought into ADO. I do not rate JH and AS at all and the fact that they need to rave on about the number of boxes they can tick ( self generated boxes by the way) smacks of political professionalism that serves no one but themselves.
