I wouldn't have thought the use of a proxy for gold would speed up drilling at all. You might pull up a hole when you've drilled the zone, so stopping it earlier, but I don't think the targets at CP are that precise.
No argument on working out where the next hole might go on the basis of this indication, but you know as well as I do that the days of shifting a rig at the geo's whim are long gone (pads, environmental, NT, etc).
The weakness in the SP is perplexing: just when the penny is in the air you leave? Strange methodology indeed!
